This collection consists of two newspaper clippings about the life of Joseph Daun, a former member of the Minnesota State Legislature and a long time civic leader in Nicollet County. The clippings are from the Mankato Free Press and are dated December 23, 1966 and July 30, 1969. The articles list Daun's many accomplishments in Nicollet County, and also list the legislation that he was involved in during his time in the Legislature. Some of the major topics he was involved in were state income tax reform, the fireworks control bill, school district reorganization, and transportation issues.
